The
Russian administration is using bulldozers to hide its war crimes committed in
Ukraine. Ukraine has alleged that Russia killed 600 people in an airstrike on
the Mariupol theater in March. Now to avoid its investigation, it is being
completely demolished with bulldozers, so that no evidence of it can survive.
Several
Russian and Ukrainian websites have released videos of the Mariupol theater
being demolished. In this, the Russian administration there can be seen
demolishing the theater with heavy machines. Ukraine's Culture Minister
Alexander Kachenko has confirmed this on Facebook. He shared a photo of the
bulldozer moving and wrote that the Mariupol Theater is now completely
destroyed.
Russia
will build a new theater on Ukrainian corpses
Ukraine's
mayor Andryushenko has accused Russia that it is now preparing to build a new
theater on the corpses of several hundred people. Only the Main Gate of the
Mariupol Theater will be kept as before. The rest of the new structure will be
set up by Russia on its own. Only last month, Russia had built a wall around
the debris. On which pictures of Russian artists were placed.
Mariupol Drama Theater was built after the Second World
War
The Mariupol Drama Theater which Russia is demolishing
in the Donetsk area of Ukraine was built at the
time of the Soviet Union. According to the Ukrainian Institute, it was built
between 1956 and 1960. The large auditorium in Mariupol had seating for 800
people. It was counted among the big buildings built during the Soviet Union.
10,300 new graves were dug in Mariupol In the
same month, news agency AP found out through satellite
that more than 10,300 graves have been dug in Mariupol after Russia's attack.
At the same time, the BBC released a report in November in which it was told
that Russia is burying the dead bodies of Ukrainian people from the destroyed
buildings of Mariupol.
'Children' was written in Russian on both sides of the
theater to escape
According to reports, when the Russian army entered
Mariupol, people took shelter in the theater to avoid air raids, including many
children. To prevent the Russian army from attacking it, 'children' were
written in Russian on both sides. Nevertheless, Russia fired two bombs of 500
kg on the theater on 16 March 2022 at around 10 am. During this time there were
around 1200 people in the theatre. Out of which about 600 people lost their
lives.
